This week marks the 20th year of the National Eating Disorder Awareness Week (NEDAW). ) Eating disorders are a widespread problem in our community, state, country, and world, effecting approximately 24 million Americans and 74 million people worldwide. At least 50,000 individuals will die as a direct result of their eating disorder.
