Medical Animatics, Inc. (MAI) officially joined with The Partnership for Clear Health Communications (PCHC) in an effort to increase awareness and support for health information literacy programs. Harlon Wilson, CEO of MAI, says his vision is to create initiatives to help patients to better understand health and medical information. “Research has demonstrated a more informed patient is better equipped to make decisions regarding medical care, they have been observed to have improved outcomes to treatments, and they are more likely to adhere to post-procedure follow-up including the adoption of health and wellness behaviors,” Wilson stated.
