Town of Speedway Redevelopment Planned

Indy is growing both outside and inside the circle, and the combination of activity makes this a vibrant, healthy and interesting community. The latest development area is Speedway, the small community circling our most famous landmark.

The Speedway Redevelopment Commission is hosting The Speed Zone Work Zone, a weekend work session that gives Speedway residents and business stakeholders a creative outlet for getting their ideas on paper.The public is welcome to attend The Work Zone sessions at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Resort and Inn:

• 2:30 to 11 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16
• 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17
• 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18
